Watch a Nissan 370Z Nismo Dust Some Sprinkles on Some Donuts
Sprinkle Me: Celebrating #NationalDonutDay in style
When most people think of donuts, they think of deep-fried gluten-and-sugar-filled breakfast pastries. But car guys tend to have a different definition of the word. Formula Drift driver Chris Forsberg got behind the wheel of a Nissan 370Z Nismo to help the automaker celebrate #NationalDonutDay in style. And it was all caught on video.
After the host dips fresh-cooked donuts in icing, Forsberg proceeds to do donuts in the sports car through a pile of sprinkles to throw them onto the just-frosted treats. During the video, sprinkles and donuts fly chaotically at the host and technicians. Forsberg makes a total of 15 passes through more than 2,800 pounds worth of sprinkles trying to cover more than 325 donuts, according to the automaker.
The Nissan 370Z Nismo is powered by a 3.7-liter DOHC VQ-family V-6 engine rated 350 hp at 7,400 rpm and 276 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm. The engine is backed by either a six-speed manual transmission with SynchroRev Match or a seven-speed automatic with Downshift Rev Matching, Adaptive Shift Control, and paddle shifters.
