Recalls: 2012-2013 Ford Edge, 2014 Nissan Titan, 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, 2014 GMC Sierra
2012-2013 Ford Edge
The Problem: On 2012-2013 Ford Edge crossovers equipped with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, a fuel line damper may have been made incorrectly. Over time, it can crack, allowing fuel to leak and potentially starting a fire within the engine bay.
The Fix: Ford will replace the fuel lines with one that doesn't have the damper for free.
Number Of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 27,933 2012-2013 Ford Edge crossovers.
2014 Nissan Titan King Cab, Crew Cab
The Problem: In some 2014 Nissan Titan pickup trucks, the sticker listing the truck's weight and payload ratings may be wrong. That could cause an owner to overload the vehicle, increasing the risk of tire failure or damage.
The Fix: Nissan will provide a new, corrected sticker to owners in a recall starting January 21.
Number Of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 183 2014 Nissan Titan pickups.
2014 Chevrolet Silverado, 2014 GMC Sierra
The Problem: GM technicians may have accidentally loaded software meant for 2015-model trucks into some 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra pickups. In that case, the transmission indicator may not display "1" when it is in manual-shift mode rather than Drive. That could prevent the truck from accelerating properly, if the driver is unaware his or her truck is in manual mode.
Number Of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 18 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra trucks.
