New Chevy Aveo, Captiva, Cruze Hatch, Orlando Interiors Unveiled Before Paris

The Paris Motor Show is nearly upon us and General Motors has been kind to share the interiors of the Chevrolet Aveo, Captiva, Cruze hatchback, and Orlando through B-roll footage.

First up, we have the front cabin shot (above) of the Cruze hatchback show car. It's nearly identical to the United States-spec Cruze sedans running around town save for more showy seats and the parking brake moving from the passenger side to the drivers side. There is also a slight color difference in the center stack's accenting, although that could merely be a trim distinction.

Next is the 2012 Aveo, pictured first to the right. The subcompact Chevy was promised a significantly revised interior and the video teaser did not disappoint with a new gauge cluster and familial center stack design. Unfortunately, the actual interior seems to have lost some of the flash from the Aveo RS concept, going from "look at me!" to "I want to fit in." Nevertheless, it's a good step away from the Aveo of old.

Third is the Orlando MPV, second photo to the right. The seven-passenger people-mover isn't coming to the U.S. but is an intriguing specimen to examine. It's sharp and angular on the outside yet accommodating on the inside. The cubby and USB input hidden behind the sound system indeed made it to fruition, along with the flat-folding second- and third-row seats.

Finally, we get a glimpse of the Captiva (last interior picture). The seven-passenger crossover is an overseas special and hits European showrooms in the spring of 2011. The Captiva gets new seat fabrics and trim textures, plus a dual-cockpit dashboard. Bluetooth, USB, and an auxiliary input come standard.
