Momo Tunes 2016 Volkswagen Jetta GLI for SEMA
Features upgraded wheels, tires, and brakes.
Italian tuner Momo has turned to the 2016 Volkswagen Jetta GLI to create a modified sport sedan for the upcoming SEMA show. The Momo Edition Jetta showcases various performance parts and visual upgrades along with certain Volkswagen accessories for the interior.
A large portion of the exterior upgrades focus around the wheels and tires, as the GLI's standard 18-inch alloys give way to 19-inch Momo Revenge 10-spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. Hiding behind the wheels are upgraded brakes, with cross-drilled Brembo brakes up front and brakes from the Volkswagen Golf R in the rear, both with yellow calipers. The tuned GLI is also fitted with H&R suspension upgrades including performance lowering springs and upgraded front and rear sway bars. The Volkswagen Jetta GLI's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is mostly left untouched, though it does feature a cat-back Milltek Sport exhaust system.
The Momo Jetta's interior also features some new trim, with yellow accents for the door panels, dashboard, and seat stitching. There's also a completely redone steering wheel, and a new information display screen on the driver's side air vent can provide information like turbo boost, coolant temperature, and 0-60 mph acceleration times. Volkswagen accessories like floor mats, a trunk liner, a roof rack, and doorsill protectors are also included.
The Momo Edition 2016 Volkswagen Jetta GLI will be shown at the SEMA show in Las Vegas next week.
