A new teaser video from Mercedes reveals a few interior features on the upcoming Mercedes-AMG C63 coupe. The clip follows on an earlier video and a handful of static teaser photos of the Mercedes-AMG C63 coupe.
The rapid-fire teaser shots of the C63 coupe’s interior reveal an environment not far departed from the four-door Mercedes-AMG C63 sedan. As is the norm with Mercedes two-door models, the interior shares components, switches, and buttons with its sedan progenitor. Items like the seat controls, the Comand infotainment controller, and the infotainment screen are all shared with other modern Mercedes models. Earlier teaser photos revealed that the exterior of the C63 coupe will feature the same widened haunches, big brakes, and aggressive wheels as the sedan.
The video also provides a chance to hear the C63’s rowdy-sounding exhaust from the outside. The Mercedes-AMG C63 coupe will almost certainly be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 producing 469 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. In the hotter “S” trim, the engine will likely push out 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Sound familiar? It should, as we have seen (and heard) this engine in action under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG C63 sedan, as well as in the Mercedes-AMG GT S supercar.
Look for the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe make its official debut at the 2015 Frankfurt auto show this September.
