Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Gains Snowmobile Tracks Thanks to Ken Block

Rally driver Ken Block has decided that the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor just isn’t capable enough for him. That’s why he’s added snowmobile tracks to the off-road performance truck to make for his latest insane creation: the Ford F-150 RaptorTrax.

This monstrosity was created by Special Vehicle Concepts in California and features four Mattracks in place of tires that hook up to a supercharged version of the standard F-150 SVT Raptor’s 6.2-liter V-8. This makes for an unstoppable off-road vehicle that Block says offers much more winter mountain-climbing capability than his standard F-150 SVT Raptor daily driver. This Ford F-150 RaptorTrax will be featured in one of Block’s videos that will be released later this year, which is sure to be as wild as his earlier Gymkhana series of videos featuring a Ford Fiesta rally car.

Though the tracks may be the most noticeable modification to this Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, the Raptor Trax also gains special snowboard racks, a rear winch, an exterior sound system, and beefed up lighting by Rigid Industries. It’s also decked out in a special green and black paint scheme with decals representing various sponsors. The Ford F-150 RaptorTrax will first be in action at the Winter X Games in Colorado this week.

See the gallery below for more images of Block’s ridiculous F-150 RaptorTrax, and keep an eye out for a video featuring this truck to come later this year.
