When Ferrari pulled the covers off the deliciously named new GTC4 Lusso, we were smitten. The lust we felt at first sight has yet to fade, and Ferrari isn’t making it any easier for us by launching of the GTC4’s online configurator.
In typical Ferrari fashion, you have plenty of choice when it comes to creating your perfect GTC4. There are 27 standard paint colors, 15 interior color choices with 18 individual stitching colors, nine colors for the brake calipers, and five wheel variations. Where you might find back-breaking carbon tub seats and acres of carbon fiber trim in the hardcore Ferrari 458 Speciale, the GTC4 Lusso puts a higher premium on comfort and amenities than lap times. In fact, the GTC4’s name says it all. Lusso? That’s Italian for luxury. As such, the optional equipment list is a little on the softer side, with things like rear privacy glass and a panoramic sunroof.
It may cosset the driver, but underneath, the GTC4 Lusso is still a bonafide supercar. Picking up where the FF left off, the GTC4 packs the same 6.3-liter V-12 engine, but now pushing out 681 hp and 514 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the GTC4 Lusso to scamper to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 208 mph.
