Is your Mercedes-AMG C63 S still stock? How boring. With a line of Mercedes tuning shops stretching well around the block, there’s no excuse for sticking with the factory-spec 503 hp, especially since Carlsson just released a new package boosting output up to a gut-twisting 625 hp.
Called the CC63s, the package adds a grab-bag of carbon fiber accents, badging, and extra get-up-and-go under the front hood. The C63 S’ 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 now puts the aforementioned 625 hp along with a mighty 608 lb-ft of torque. Carlsson didn’t elaborate on where the extra 112 hp and 92 lb-ft come from, but it’s likely the result of ECU retuning, a less-restrictive exhaust, and a bigger intake.
On the outside, two carbon fiber trim packages are available. The Carbon Package 1 includes a front spoiler, rear skirt insert, and the rear spoiler. Spring for the Carbon Package 2 and Carlsson will throw in woven air ducts and mudguards as well.
To help put this power to the ground, special 20-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Supersports are fitted to all four corners. Inside, Carlsson adds special “tartan check” inserts on the seats and additional Nappa leather trim on the doors, dash, and steering wheel.
No word yet on how much this will cost, but don’t expect it to be cheap.
