Next time you take a vacation, don’t settle for a pedestrian rental car. Here are a few getaways that help incorporate your passion for cars into your trip.
Gateway Canyons Resort
Started in: 2004
Location: Gateway, Colorado (near the Utah border)
Cars: Bentley Continental GT, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Ford GT, Porsche 911, Baja Trophy Truck, etc.
Price: $600-$1,800 per night (packages vary)
This lavish resort is enticing enough on its own, with breathtaking scenery, sumptuous rooms, and all sorts of outdoor activities, but the best part about the place is that founder John Hendricks, creator of the Discovery Channel, set it up to be a haven for automotive enthusiasts like himself. An on-site auto museum houses an impressive collection, including an ultra-rare Oldsmobile F-88 concept from 1953. A fleet of exotics and supercars is available to rent for a spectacular drive along nearby Highway 141, and you can hit the off-road track to either ride along with a professional driver or learn to drive a Baja truck for yourself.
These all-inclusive group tours are indulgent affairs spanning multiple countries, thousands of miles, and more than 10 days at a time. You can drive either a Porsche 911 or Audi R8 Spyder through alpine passes in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria or along the Mediterranean on a trip that includes tickets to the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix as well as a seven-day stint on a yacht.

of Las Vegas)

As the longest road course in North America, Spring Mountain’s 6.1-mile circuit hosts various group track events along with Corvette and Cadillac V-Series racing schools.
