2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition Starts at $26,550
Corolla Special Edition starts at $21,470.
Toyota unveiled special edition models of the 2016 Camry and Corolla at the 2015 Chicago auto show, both of which will be produced in limited numbers, and now the automaker has released pricing for both models.
The 2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition features a unique exterior look and builds upon the equipment list of the SE model. The Special Edition adds unique 18-inch alloy wheels with gloss black-painted accents, a smoked taillight treatment, two new exterior paint colors, Dark Blue interior trim, standard Entune Audio Plus with Connected Navigation, smart key system, wireless smartphone charging, and Special Edition badges.
Toyota will only be producing 12,000 units of this model, with a production run between August 2015 and January 2016. Customers wanting a slightly more aggressive Camry will have to pay a nearly $2,000 premium over a regular SE, as the price will be set at $26,550, including $835 destination.
Like the Camry Special Edition, the 2016 Toyota Corolla Special Edition will build off an existing trim level, the Corolla S Plus. New features will include 17-inch alloy wheels in a gloss black finish, smart key system and push-button start, a black interior with red contrast stitching, a red accented dash panel and door trim, three exterior color options, and Special Edition badges.
Pricing for the Corolla Special Edition will start at $21,470, and only 8,000 units will be produced between August 2015 and January 2016. Both the 2016 Toyota Corolla and Camry Special Edition models will hit dealers in mid-August.
