Mopar fans, listen up: Dodge announced Radar Red Nappa leather sports seats are now available in the 2015 Dodge Durango R/T. Dodge previewed this seat color on a Durango concept shown at the 2013 SEMA auto show, and according to Dodge, fans have been clamoring for a production version ever since.
Radar Red was previously only a leather color available on the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger. Now, the red leather color is available to accentuate the outwardly aggressive attitude the Dodge Durango R/T displays. The 2015 Dodge Durango R/T is not all bark and no bite, however, with 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque pumped out of the 5.7-liter V-8. Not too shabby for a three-row, seven-seat SUV.
The Radar Red leather color option is available in addition to the already existing black Nappa leather package, with both color options costing $1,195.
A new 20-inch standard wheel design is also available, with a high-gloss Granite Crystal finish. Along with the aggressively lowered ride height, the new wheels help to further set the R/T apart from the rest of the three-row SUV crowd, along with the R/T’s monochromatic appearance, with color-matched grille bezels.
