2015 Chevrolet Silverado Custom Adds 20-Inch Wheels, Chrome Bumpers
The next special-edition truck from GM.
Chevrolet pulled the covers off of its newest special edition Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, ahead of the 2015 Chicago auto show debut. The 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Custom is the latest in a long, long list of special editions and trims General Motors has made available for its extensive truck lineup in the past few months, including the GMC Sierra Elevation package and the Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Midnight Edition package, as well as various packages for the smaller Colorado and Canyon.
The 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Custom is available only on double-cab Silverado LS models, and adds 20-inch aluminum wheels, chromed bumpers, a color-matched top cap above front bumper, chrome mirror caps, and chrome door handles. Other standard features include a tilt steering wheel, cruise control, power windows and power locks, and the Chevy MyLink infotainment system with 4G LTE Wifi.
The 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Custom is available with a choice of two engines. Those wishing to receive better fuel efficiency, and save a little off the purchase price of the truck may spring for the 4.3-liter V-6 engine, which pumps out 285 hp, and 305 lb-ft of torque. Buyers who need more power to tow or haul should pick the 5.3-liter V-8, which has a respectable 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque
Pricing for a 5.3-liter V-8 equipped 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Custom begins at $33,820 (including destination) for the two-wheel drive model, and $37,800 for the 4-wheel drive model.
