Early adopters of the 2015 Audi S3 may be able to get their hands on a Limited Edition version of the car, but only if they’re quick. Audi will sell just 350 examples of the S3 Limited Edition, which adds several visual upgrades compared to the standard performance sedan.
The 2015 Audi S3 Limited Edition builds on the car’s standard equipment with Daytona Gray pearl-effect paint, a black/Magma Red two-tone interior treatment, LED headlights, and red brake calipers. The Limited Edition also packs the S3’s $1500 19-inch Performance package, which bundles Audi’s magnetic ride suspension with unique 19-inch wheels shod in 235/35/19 summer performance tires.
There are no other mechanical changes to the Limited Edition, so it continues with the same powertrain as the regular 2015 Audi S3. That means a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine rated for 292 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, coupled to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. As we found out when we drove the car in Texas, the 2015 Audi S3 is, “a very impressive, very fast small sports sedan. It would be an excellent car to live with day to day, in any climate.”
Pricing for the 2015 Audi S3 starts at $41,995, including destination charges, but pricing for the Limited Edition model has not yet been announced.
