2015 Audi RS 5 Coupe Adds Limited-Run Sport Edition

Just 75 units planned for the U.S.

Audi Exclusive — the German automaker’s customization arm — has announced the 2015 Audi RS 5 Coupe Sport Edition, which will be limited to just 75 units in the U.S. The car features unique interior and exterior details.

Available colors for the 2015 Audi RS 5 Coupe Sport Edition include Daytona Gray pearl and Nardo Gray, though customers will also have the option to specify exclusive colors. Red brake calipers peek out from behind a set of 20-inch alloy wheels with a split five-spoke design.

The exterior details are complemented inside by black and Crimson Red Fine Nappa leather seating and door panel inserts. Crimson Red stitching contrasts with the seats and armrests, as well as the black leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter boot. There are also RS logos embossed on the front seat backrests and body-color inlays on the door panels and center console.

Like all 2015 Audi RS 5 Coupes, the Sport Edition is powered by a 4.2-liter V-8 making 450 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque mated to a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission that routes power to all four wheels via the automaker’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. Audi claims the RS 5 Coupe can reach 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 174 mph.

The 2015 Audi RS 5 Sport Coupe Edition will start at $87,575 — up from the $71,825 entry price of a standard model.
