2010 Audi A4, A5, Q5 Prices Announced
Audi officially released pricing this morning for its 2010 A4, A5, and Q5 models.
The 2010 Audi A4 sedan sees minimal changes this year. The price of the base A4 (equipped with Audi's 2.0T engine, front-wheel-drive, and a continuously variable transmission) is $32,275. The price, which includes a $825 destination charge, is approximately $450 more than the 2009 model.
For 2010, A4 models equipped with navigation gain Audi's third-generation MMI, while Premium Plus and Prestige models receive LED taillights out back. The S4 also receives a new 7-speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission, while the A4 S-line model receives new 7-spoke wheels in lieu of the old 5-spoke design.
For the 2010 A5, Audi's eschewed the 3.2-liter V-6 engine in favor of the same turbocharged inline four-cylinder from the A4 lineup. Equipped with the 2.0T and a manual transmission, the A5 coupe will start at $36,825, including destination charges--about $4700 less than the 2009 A5. The V-6 is slated to remain in the lineup as an option, but the manual transmission pairing has been axed. Like the A4, the 2010 A5 coupes equipped with navigation systems receive upgraded MMI interfaces and LED taillights.
The 2010 Audi Q5 now starts at $38,175, $150 more than last year's model. Changes for the A5 are minimal, with Audi adding new inlays (Fine Grain Ash and Natural Brown), removing an exterior color (Dakar Beige), and revising the tire pressure monitoring system to use the ABS speed sensors to detect air loss.
Audi hasn't announced specifically when these vehicles will arrive at dealerships, but expect them to be there in the next few weeks. 2010 pricing and model year changes for the remainder of Audi's portfolio should also emerge in the next few weeks.
