1988 Chevrolet Corvette and 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider Go to Block for Charity

Proceeds to benefit American Heart Association and Camp Summer Ground

An all-white 1988 Chevrolet Corvette 35th Anniversary Edition is up for grabs at Barrett-Jackson’s Palm Beach Auction this weekend.

Proceeds from the sale go to the American Heart Association as part of the auction house’s Driven Hearts campaign.

Also crossing the stage is a 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider that was owned by fiddler Jimmy De Martini of the Zac Brown Band. All proceeds of that sale will go to Zac and Shelly Brown’s non-profit Camp Southern Ground.

“Surpassing $102 million total raised for charity during our Scottsdale Auction was an incredible milestone, providing a great springboard into this year’s Palm Beach Auction and we are extremely grateful to all those who helped make that happen,” said Craig Jackson, Barrett-Jackson chairman and CEO in a statement.

If the C4 Corvette looks familiar to you, it has already been auctioned twice and has since raised $350,000 at the 2018 Scottsdale Auction back in January.

A 5.7-liter V-8 engine that is mated to automatic transmission powers the Corvette. It will be presented with a matching 35th Anniversary Corvette to be auctioned at a future event to support

The 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider packs a 4.3-liter V-8 engine with automatic transmission and features a custom Zac Brown Band wrap.

“There’s nothing more important or significant in every way than generating not only dollars, but awareness, for these important charities. We’re going to rock the house again as we build on the $102-plus million for charity we’ve helped generate over the years with more exciting and meaningful moments on the auction block in Palm Beach.” said Steve Davis, Barrett-Jackson president.

The 16th Annual Palm Beach Auction will be held on April 12-15 at the South Florida Fairgrounds.
