2011 Toyota Venza
2011 Toyota Venza
The Toyota Venza was a brand new addition to the Toyota family in 2009. The Versa has successfully blended the lines between a hatchback, station wagon and crossover vehicle. The marketing department from Toyota has described this vehicle as a something having the styling and comfort of car but the usefulness of a SUV. This is definitely not a standard sports utility vehicle or a car. It really is something in the middle. This smaller vehicle can tow as much as 3,500 pounds so it is definitely a useful sports utility vehicle. On the inside there is a lot of rolling curves and current styling that make it a very cool looking car if nothing else.

The engine options for the Venza are what make it seem stronger than many give it credit for. The standard 2.7 liter inline 4 cylinder engine give it a total output of 182 horsepower and the optional 3.5 liter v-6 cranks out 268 horsepower which make the Venza a very capable pulling machine. The 2011 Venza starts a little over $26,000 and gets 27 mpg on the highway.
2011 Toyota Venza V 6 AWD Front Left View
On a rational level, the Toyota Venza is a solid choice for a five-seat crossover. It has lots of interior room and is reasonably stylish. The only downside, then, is that the driving experience is utterly forgettable. The throttle and transmission are programmed to be incredibly soft and lethargic, which makes the Venza feel slow and hesitant. As is the case with cars like the Toyota Camry, the Venza seems designed for the type of person who simply wants reliable and comfortable transportation from one place to another. That's fine, but someone who actually enjoys driving cars will find the Venza terrifically dull.

For 2012, the Toyota Venza will fall in line with the rest of Toyota’s lineup by employing a model strategy that includes LE, XLE, and Limited trims. At its launch, the uniquely styled Venza was offered in one variant with a long list of a la carte options.
