I drove the Silverado 2500HD back from the airport late at night and found it relatively easy to drive for a vehicle the size of my apartment. Steering is a bit heavy at parking lot speeds, but I suppose that's to be expected with so much weight and twenty-inch wheels. As Rusty notes, the transmission is very quick, although it swapped gears with a very noticeable "clunk" on a few occasions.
As far as the interior goes, it's amazing that the Silverado can be this good and still not be the best in class (that honor likely would go to Dodge). It's easy to forget that five to ten years ago, most domestic passenger cars didn't have cabins this well finished, let alone big work trucks like this.
