I actually like the Sable and Taurus for what they are. These sedans (and the Taurus X don't-call-it-a-wagon) offer the higher seating position so many Americans want without resorting to the weight, height, and gas guzzling of an SUV. No, these aren't sporty cars, but they make for quiet commuters and offer tons of room. The higher seats made for a fairly comfortable entry/exit after hitting the gym before work. Sliding in and out of a sports car isn't so fun when your muscles feel like jelly. Sync didn't work for me. I have no idea what happened, but I have been having worse luck with the Sync system each time I have used it. When I got a preview of Sync at the Ford proving grounds, I walked away very impressed. Then I used it in a Focus coupe and could not use any of my playlists. Now I'm unable to get Sync to recognize my iPod, and I left it plugged in for about 15 minutes! I gave up and just used the auxiliary input and manually selected a playlist. Sometimes the low tech solution just works best.
