We loved it as a concept, we love it more as a product.
Taking an electrically powered ride into the future.
The larger, more powerful 1 Series.
ATS coupe is coming and will certainly look better than this.
This is very disappointing. I do not like that the front end especially is not more differentiated from the sedan. The E92 was very distinct from the e90, which makes the 3-to-4 naming convention a bit ironic since the body styles have actually converged more than before - marketing over substance. The body vs greenhouse proportions just don't seem spot-on either. The E92 seemed to have a more-lithe body with bigger greenhouse, giving it a wonderfully lean impression (even though we know it was quite portly). This new higher waistline with smaller greenhouse in the current fashion just looks less athletic. I mean, it's not comical Chrysler 300, but I don't even want a whiff of that in my BMW. I'm sticking to my E92 for now and considering an S5, although I think there's room in the marketplace now for that "perfect" sporty coupe.
It looks nice, but I just wish it was lighter.
BMW just cant make an interior that looks nice.....either it is dreary (1 series,3-5 series) or a complete hot mess like this one. The same old squished center stack and now that cheesy fold over on the passenger side of the dash makes BMW interior stylists look pathetic. But as least they are taking some kind of chance at style, unlike the exterior team. Its the same ol, same ol with just a tweek here and there. Total gutless wonders afraid to take a chance in the style department.
I would still want an Audi S5 over this ANYDAY! The side vents look cheesy also!
Ahh my next car! Looks good here, even better in M Sport Trim with the 19 in wheels. Eat your heart out A5, looking a bit long in the tooth, although the Audi is still hot in her old age :-)
