LF-NX concept ditches its hybrid powertrain for a new turbocharged engine.
The Lexus IS coupe we've been waiting for.
More mild than wild.
I like it more than the ATS
"As well and truly as the designers nailed the car's face ..." Yeah, that face is "nailed" all right ... it's a dead ringer for "Predator." Now I suppose if you are a big sci-fi fan and want your car to look like an alien, this may be a good thing. For me, I prefer a car that looks like it belongs here on Earth.
I told myself I'd drive manual's until I'm old & grey, but this car just looks too cool! Especially with the LFA inspired instrument cluster & steering wheel. This car would have to be absolutely amazing for me to ignore my manual impulse. Time will tell on that one I guess......
Man I wish I could get the IS350 AWD Sport in manual. Then the car would be absolutely PERFECT!
Peak power, the beautiful unique
Where's the coupe?!?!?!
Doesn't even hit 155. Don't tell me the lack of a new engine isn't a sore spot when you're competing in a league of European/American competitors that simply offer more power with similar, if not better, fuel efficiency.
Handling counts, for sure, but if they really want to compete they're going to have to get their act together in the engine department.
I like the direction Lexus are going. First with the early ISF, then the LFA, it's clear to see they're placing more effort in chassis dynamics and not just creating another nice but boring beige-mobile.
Haven't driven it yet, but I think Lexus could have struck a perfect balance of form, function, and fun with the new IS.
I like the looks of this car better than the equivalent bummer or benz
esse eu ja tenhoooo
@Matthew Scott Gribble It is electronically limited to 143 mph. It can go faster otherwise.
