opaque/9f082af0-7df9-11e2-b827-000bcdcb8a73 5pts I have the 2.0 SEL Escape with 4wd and I love it! It's amazing that it's a 4 cylinder! Super fun to drive...you forget it's an SUV. Corners with hardly any body roll, accelerates with no hesitation or turbo lag, and it's quiet! I started my driving life with a 4 cylinder turbo Chrysler LeBaron convertible with that typical turbo lag and then takeoff but this engine puts even 6 cylinders to shame. The seating is comfortable (all leather seats with heat), plenty of leg room, great panoramic sunroof, great sound system (Sony) and the navigation is my first factory installed so it's a learning curve but it seems to be clear and accurate for the limited time I have had the vehicle. I had a '07 Edge that was coming due to be traded and I will miss the 6 cylinder engine a little and the 20 gallon fuel tank (vs 15) but the break in isn't complete for the Escape (1000-2000 miles...currently @ 500) so it's hard to say where I will be with MPG but it's much better than the Edge already with 21-22 city and @ 24-27 hwy. I did get the tow package with it but it hasn't been tested yet. Altogether a very nice replacement for the Edge.
