TwoTires 5pts I am product of the "Golden Age" of sports cars. That is I've had the pleasure and enjoyment of owning/driving the 356, A-H 3000, TR 6, TVR, Jag 120, and even a Dino. My Dad came back from Europe after WWII and was one of the first to own a VW, then came the Morris Minor Conv., MG TD, Jag 120 Alloy, A-H R Model, etc. It's the feel, the sound, the long stroke engine, and total romantic notion of owning a two seater or Rally Car. Younger drivers today have never had the pleasure and therefore have little understanding.Vehicles that are perfect and just go fast get boring in short order and are NOT your companion sharing the experience of America's back roads. That's why I OWN A '64 Vespa and '65 Honda 305 Scrambler, and an old Buick and will HOT to try the new Subaru for my long distance hauler when my TR6 wants to sleep in.............
sschewe 5pts I believe that this type of car has a market for people who are younger---especially before the child raising years! I bought a 1971 BMW 2002 from the factory upon returning from the Peace Corps. I almost lost my drivers license with that speedster. It was a hoot. This Subie/Toyota sounds even cooler.
FENCEMEISTER 5pts ALL THOSE PICS AND NOT ONE OF THE ENGINE OR THE TRUNK LID UP! WHAT GIVES. NICE CAR BUT I'M GONNA WAIT FOR THE TOYOTA VERSION THEN DECIDE.
