Xenatec Presents Maybach 57 S Coupe, Costs Over $934,000

After initially reporting on Xenatec’s Maybach 57 S coupe project back in May, it appears the custom two-door is ready for its deep-pocketed customers. The price tag is 675,000 euros, or around $934,000, excluding taxes and fees.

At this automotive strata, paying customers can most definitely afford their purchases and Xenatec will be happy to oblige. The limited-run coupe is based on the Maybach 57 S sedan but loses the extra doors while increasing rear track by 0.8 inch and raking the windshield and rear window. The doors, side panels, fascias, and fenders are replaced on the outside. Inside, the driver and three passengers will be swathed with rich materials, seat monitors, ventilation throughout the cabin, and front and rear power-adjustable seats.

Due to its base vehicle, the super-luxury coupe uses a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12 developing 621 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque. The five-speed automatic transmission is carried over and helps the custom Maybach to a top speed near 172 mph and an estimated fuel economy of 9.6 city and 21.4 highway mpg. A 21.4-gallon fuel tank gives it a theoretical combined range of 314 miles, assuming a combined fuel economy of 14.8 mpg.
