Word is Out: 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Booked for New York Debut

Hyundai has let the cat out of the bag and has confirmed that the all-new 2013 Santa Fe crossover will show its face at the New York International Auto Show in April.

The current generation, introduced in mid-2006 for model-year 2007, received a minor refresh in 2010. Word around the rumor mill is that it will keep its current drivetrain and engine options (a 175-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a 276-hp 3.5-liter V-6 paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, and six-speed manual available on the I-4 model), but could see improvements in fuel efficiency. The base Santa Fe currently achieves an EPA-rated 20/28 mpg city/highway.

We spied what we believed to be the Santa Fe back in October, with certain styling cues like the three-bar chrome grille seen on the Hyundai Sonata peeking from underneath the camo.

We will keep you updated as we learn more.
