Feature Flick: 2013 Audi S8 Tested on World’s Fastest Car Show

On this week’s episode of The World’s Fastest Car Show, host Justin Bell goes for a spin in the 2013 Audi S8, an unassuming super sedan that’s capable of out-accelerating big names like the Ferrari FF and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT.

This week’s episode kicks off with Bell introducing the audience to the S8, an all-wheel-drive, mostly-aluminum monster powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 that churns out 520 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic, the S8 is capable of pulling off a 3.5-second 0-60 mph run, and ripping through the quarter-mile in 11.8 seconds at 118.3 mph.

After taking us through what makes the Audi so quick, Bell takes the S8 out on to the track, where he gives us the ins and outs of driving such a big and heavy car fast.
