Toyota Prolongs Camry Solara Convertible Production

Looks like Toyota won’t be without a drop-top after all: the automaker confirmed it would extend the life of the Camry Solara Convertible by two years.

The announcement comes just in the nick of time – the car was expected to be discontinued later this month.; Reportedly, Toyota heard from plenty of dealers and consumers who didn’t want the car to be cancelled.

Although the car has changed little since its last revision in 2004, Toyota built 28,479 Solaras (in both coupe and convertible form) in 2007.;
