Toyota Prices 2011 Prius, Highlander, Venza, and FJ Cruiser

Toyota has priced the 2011 Prius, refreshed Highlander, Venza, and FJ Cruiser.

The Highlander has been refreshed for 2011 and features a revised Hybrid model powertrain. The base Highlander, with a four-cylinder engine, sees a $1535 price bump over the 2010 model, to $28,200.

Looking for a six-cylinder Highlander? The base price for a V-6 starts at $29,355. The starting price of a Highlander Hybrid — featuring a 3.5-liter V-6 instead of a 3.3-liter engine — has jumped $2390, to $38,100.

Venza MSRPs for 2011 have only been notched up by $200, meaning a base model with “only” 19-inch wheels will cost $27,235. Add $1450 for all-wheel drive. Venza V-6 models begin at $29,060.

The FJ Cruiser, which has seen sales rise 25.2 percent through the first eight months of the year, gets price increases of more than 4 percent. $25,900 will buy you a two-wheel-drive FJ Cruiser and $27,080 for a four-wheel-drive model.

On the other side of the Toyota lineup, Prius sales so far this year have been down 1.5 percent. For 2011, the Prius lineup gets a price bump of $250. A base Prius will run $23,810 while a loaded Prius V starts at $29,080. For the 2010 model year, the price difference between the Honda Insight and Toyota Prius, before destination charges, was $3000. Honda has yet to announce 2011 Insight pricing.

Prices include a $760 destination charge for the Prius and Venza, and $810 for the Highlander, and FJ Cruiser.
