You’ve already seen photos of the new Nissan 370Z here at automobilemag.com. Now we’ve seen it in person: Nissan just dropped off a brand-spanking-new, bright-blue Nissan 370Z at our editorial offices in Ann Arbor, and technical editor Don Sherman just drove away with it, trying to get in some dry-road time before we get deluged with a forecasted rainstorm.
We get to drive the car for a week, but we can’t tell you anything about it until next Wednesday, November 19th, at 9 a.m. EST, and even then we’re only supposed to give you the technical specs. In taking delivery of the car a full week before its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, we’ve also promised Nissan that we won’t publicize any of our driving impressions until Monday, December 1st. But we can tell you that it goes on sale the first week of January as a 2009 model.
Check back at automobilemag.com on Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 for full details on the fifth-generation Z-car and then again on Monday, December 1st for our complete drive story of the 2009 Nissan 370Z.
