Although Tushek recently introduced its first production supercar, it’s already teasing the upcoming Aventador fighter. The automaker hopes the new model will weigh in at under about 2200 lbs, and crank out about 700 horses. For comparison, the Lamborghini Aventador, thrives off a 691-hp 6.5-liter V-12. Despite the Lamborghini’s curb weight of over 3700 pounds, the car has been tested accelerating from 0-60 mph in under 3.0 seconds.
The Forego T700 will follow the Slovenian automaker’s low-volume Renovatio T500, which debuted last week at the Top Marques show in Monaco. The Renovatio T500 is powered by an Audi-sourced 4.2-liter V-8 engine that packs 444 hp. Those 444 horses can get it from 0 to 62 mph in a claimed 3.7 seconds with a top speed of about 193 mph.
Company founder Aljosa Tushek told Autocar, “We only plan to make 30 pieces. It is 100 percent made in Slovenia and is designed as a compromise between everyday use and track use.” Pricing will start at 275,000 euros ($324,000 U.S.) when the first Renovatio T500s are delivered at the end of the summer.
