A group of rural dealers have recently voiced their concern over Flex allocations.; Dealers in urban cities have received early (and numerous) Flex shipments, while stores in other corners of the country are still waiting for theirs.
Although the Flex may not play as well in rural areas, small dealers still want the crossover on the lot to attract traffic.; Much of Ford’s current advertising surrounds the Flex, and the extra buzz could prompt shoppers to head to the showroom.
Ford hopes to quell any supply concerns by delivering Flexes to smaller dealers before sending additional units to dealers already stocking the vehicle.
