Large scale car collectors are a different bunch. While some acquire just one of each desired model, others are only content with a whole range of colors and special touches for their cars, only stopping when they have a color for every outfit, event, and occasion. Such is the case with prolific collector Michael Fux, who just took delivery of his tenth bespoke Rolls-Royce at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering at this year’s Monterey Car Week.
Fux’ new drop-top Dawn is presented in a strikingly bright blue hue, carrying the appropriate “Fux Blue” name. The custom, one-off azure bleeds over to the fabric top, contrasting well with the Arctic White interior. Attractive “Piano White” trim adorns the center console. The Arctic White leather extends to the rear decklid as well, providing an unbroken cocoon of white leather for the occupants.
Of course, this is hardly Fux’ first special order car. According to Rolls-Royce (and confirmed by a quick glance at his official Instagram account), Fux owns more than 150 cars. Of those 150, ten of them are custom-ordered Rolls-Royces, including three Phantom Drophead Coupes in purple, yellow, and candy-apple red. It might not be bright green or orange, but we have a feeling the Fux Blue Dawn will fit right in.
