The Fix: The recall should begin soon. Dealers will replace the airbag free of charge. GMC owners should call 1-800-462-8782, while Chevy owners should call 1-800-222-1020.

Number of Vehicles Affected: Vehicles produced from June 2, 2011 to October 17, 2011, for a total of 1,798 vehicles.

The Problem: Affected vehicles are fitted with incorrect turn signal modules that don’t work with the vehicle’s lighting system. The module may cause turn signal lamps to malfunction when using hazard lights or the turn signal. The signal may flash erratically or not at all.

The Fix: Lotus will replace the module free of charge. Contact them at 1-800-245-6887.

Number of Vehicles Affected: Vehicles produced from June 2010 through February 2011, a total of 52 units.
