Last week, Nissan announced prices for its NV200 compact cargo van. Now it’s big brother’s turn. Prices for the NV full-size cargo and passenger vans get a modest increase of $250 on most models, but some models see an increase of as much as $550, and one model in particular gets a price cut. The destination charge of $995 remains the same as the 2013 models.
At the lower end of the NV Cargo spectrum, the NV1500 Standard Roof S V6 model goes from $26,415 to $26,665. The Price on the NV1500 Standard Roof SV V6 drops $400 from $28,055 to $27,665. For the passenger vans, prices go up by $250 on the entry level 3500 S trim with the V-6 from $32,985 to $33,235, and the top-line 3500 SL trim with the 5.6-liter V-8 goes up $550 from $38,685 to $39,235.
There are no major mechanical changes on the 2014 Nissan NV line, with the choice of a 4.0-liter V-6 or 5.6-liter V-8 engine, both paired to a five-speed automatic transmission carrying over. Some bigger changes for the NV full-size line could be coming with the new 2015 Nissan Titan truck coming next fall. It’s unknown if the Titan’s optional 5.0-liter Cummins ISV V-8 turbodiesel will also be offered in the NV.
