Not Special Enough? One-Off Lamborghini Aventador J Reimagined By Prindiville

If the one-off Lamborghini Aventador J concept wasn’t exclusive enough, Prindiville has revealed its own plans for a retuned version of the design study, if the Italian automaker ever brought the car to production.

The Prindiville J concept made weight reduction and a power boost for the 6.5-liter V-12 top priorities. Besides replacing factory body panels with carbon fiber pieces, the exterior would also gain a new front bumper, hood, side skirts, rear diffuser, and rear wing.

The reflashed engine management computer and custom titanium or stainless steel exhaust increases the pony count to about 800 hp, the same power figure as Prindiville’s eight-unit special-edition Aventador. An adjustable suspension and ceramic brakes would also improve performance. Prindiville says the upgrades will lower the 0-62 mph time to about 2.5 seconds. Top speed for this fantasy Lamborghini is expected to be in excess of 220 mph.

Inside, Prindiville used milled aluminum for certain interior panels and air vents. The company’s insignia would be etched into the black leather and Alcantara seats, and color-matched to the body color. Prindiville strays from the original Aventador J concept’s barren interior by using a five-inch LCD TV screen to access the infotainment system and, to make sure you never miss the navigation system’s directions, adds hand-built Italian 1000-watt subwoofer amplifiers. The navigation system is said to feature telemetry of some of some of the most popular racetracks in the world.

Given what we already know about the Lamborghini Aventador J, do you think a tweaked version like the Prindiville J concept would add or detract from the original car?
