Nissan to Release Digital Magazines for GT-R, Z Enthusiasts

Nissan releases three magazines for the Flipboard digital reader app.

Nissan is catering to its enthusiast following with new digital magazines that will be catered to fans of the Nissan GT-R, the Nissan Z, and Nissan motorsports. These three magazines will use the Flipboard digital reader app, and coincide with the debut of the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo at the 2013 Tokyo and Los Angeles auto shows this week.

The first magazine will be called 100Rear/50Front and focuses on articles and photos of the Nissan GT-R. This title references the Nissan GT-R’s ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system, which can direct up to 100 percent of the engine’s torque to the rear wheels, and up to 50 percent of torque to the front wheels. Nismo Performance is another magazine focused on Nissan Motorsports teams and Nismo-tuned vehicles, and the third magazine, entitled “Car Love” will feature an amalgam of photos of Nissan sports cars both from Nissan’s own photo library and from other web sources.

These digital magazines were developed in partnership with the Nissan Marketing Innovation Lab and N4MD, an Atlanta-based tech startup. All three magazines will be available for free on Flipboard starting this week. Nissan says new content will be posted daily, and the magazines are available for download at
