Want a sneak peek at the next-generation Honda Odyssey? Head to the 2010 Chicago auto show. Honda has confirmed a conceptual form of its next minivan will be unveiled February 10 during press days.
The Odyssey, currently in its third generation, has been a mainstay on American roads since its debut in 1995. Although we’ll only see the concept at the Chicago show, it’s quite possible we’ll see a thinly disguised version of the production van, which could reach dealers as soon as 2011.
As was the case with the third-generation van, it’s more than likely the next Odyssey will be completely different from the model sold in the Japan. Unlike the Japanese Odyssey, a low-slung, four-door tall-wagon, the North American version probably will resemble a conventional minivan.
There’s no word yet on any major changes we can expect with the new Odyssey, but as it’s one of our favorite minivans, we can’t wait to see the concept. Stay with Automobile Magazine for all the latest news surrounding the Odyssey concept and other launches from the 2010 Chicago auto show.
