Motor Trend is reporting that Bryan Nesbitt is no longer the general manager of Cadillac. We were told to expect some changes in GM’s ranks today and Nesbitt’s departure is unexpected.
MT’s Todd Lassa speculates that Nesbitt’s departure has serious overtones for Bob Lutz’s future at GM. Since Lutz hired Nesbitt away from Chrysler, this may be a sign Lutz isn’t seen as essential for GM’s turnaround and Reuss will be GM’s main car guy.
