This teaser sketch previews a luxury SUV that will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. It hails from British startup Eterneti Motors, which claims “A new luxury car brand is coming.”
The company’s official press release is just three lines long, promising that a new luxury car and luxury brand from London will be unveiled in Frankfurt. A teaser video on the company’s website promises “A storm of limitless force” and suggests the car’s name will be Hemera.
The sketch shows a car with giant wheels, a sharply raked windshield, gaping trapezoidal front grille, and aggressive body creases. We think it looks like a Porsche Cayenne Turbo that was stretched lengthwise.
Autocar reveals that the SUV will cost £150,000 (about $246,300) and will be built using “elements of other vehicles” — which likely means licensed engines, transmissions, and possibly chassis components. Eterneti plans to build about 100 copies of the “high-performance” SUV per year.
Eterneti is reportedly a British company that is funded by international investors. The company hopes to eventually launch a supercar of its own.
The name Hemera comes from the Greek goddess of day — so who knows what that might mean for a car bearing that name. Check back in September to see if we learn anything more concrete about the Eterneti Hemera.
