At first glance, the supercar appears to be a prototype since it wears a dizzying pattern, but it’s actually the MP4-12C Greenwich edition. It’s just like any other MP4-12C, except it’s been wrapped in McLaren’s special camouflage vinyl skin that we’ve seen before on spied test cars. The skin reportedly took three days to apply, and the swirling white lines on the black background actually represent race tracks around the world. Everything else remains the same, including the 3.8-liter V-8 that produces 592 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. For the 2013 model year, the McLaren 12C upped horsepower to 616 hp.
Going for $259,035, the pre-owned supercar has 4100 miles on the odometer, and offers features such as a surround sound system, sports exhaust, and the Stealth package, which adds a dark finish to the exhaust tips and rear wing supports. Considering that the 2013 McLaren 12C carries a base price (before options) of $241,800, the MP4-12C for sale clearly carries a premium. Would you consider driving a McLaren that looked like the car pictured here?
