Just last week Hyundai teased the 2013 Santa Fe to build up some buzz before the crossover’s New York auto show debut. Today a couple details on the all-new Santa Fe leaked when The Korean Car Blog got its hands on a couple shots of the official 2013 Santa Fe’s Korean-language brochure.
The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe brochure isn’t complete, but it does give us an idea of some new technology and family-friendly features coming to Hyundai’s Highlander and Pilot fighter.
The three-row Santa Fe appears to get a more upscale-looking interior. The brochure shows brown leather interior with a second row that’s capable of sliding fore and aft, retractable window shades, as well as heated and cooled seating. The brochure also shows us that the 2013 Santa Fe will have Hyundai’s BlueLink system, and safety features like a Lane Departure Warning system and a driver’s knee airbag at least available as an option, at least overseas.
It’s still not clear what powerplants will be used in the U.S.-spec Santa Fe. The brochure shows what appears to be a naturally aspirated I-4. Since the Santa Fe is built on the Sonata’s architecture, will the crossover ditch V-6 engines altogether and opt for a turbocharged I-4? We’ll have more details on the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe as we get closer to the crossover’s New York debut.
