Lamborghini Shipped from Qatar to England for Oil Change

If you think oil changes are expensive, thank your lucky stars you’re not paying £20,000 ($39,623) for the service.; One owner of a new 2008 Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 paid that princely sum to have his car shipped from Qatar to London for a lube job.

The 6500-mile round-trip reportedly cost the customer, rumored to be a Sheikh, 20,000 on top of the £3552 ($7037) costs to have the car serviced.; Handlers at London’s Heathrow airport condemned the move, theorizing it could have been more efficient to fly mechanics to the Lamborghini itself.

We’ve seen stranger things happen from those with wealth, but we’re simply stunned – why, after paying nearly $50,000, would you not have your Lambo serviced at the factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy?
