IntelliChoice and AutoPacific have teamed up to announce the winners to the restyled 2010 Motorist Choice Awards.
Now in its fifth year, the awards have been changed to reflect popular lifestyles and categories have been altered. Each classification has two winners — one from a popular, mass-market brand and another from a premium brand — and there are a total of 30 winning vehicles. The winners are ultimately determined by gathering national value data and results from consumer lifestyle studies.
“From an emotional standpoint these awards are a reflection of how cars fit into people’s daily lives, the tasks they fulfill on a day-to-day basis and the image people have of their vehicles,” IntelliChoice executive editor Charlie Vogelheim said. “The cars in these categories not only represent tremendous value, they are also about the image you want to portray to other motorists as well.”
