The 330-horsepower six-cylinder M37 sees an interim pricing bump of $250 while the 420-horsepower eight-cylinder M56 MSRP increases $350. The cost of factory-installed option packages and dealer accessories remains unchanged.
The rear-wheel-drive entry-level M37 model now carries a list price of $47,375 including a destination charge of $875. The M37x AWD also stays under $50,000, with an MSRP of $49,525.
The more powerful M56 now starts at $58,775, widening the gap between itself and the M37 by $100. As before the interim price change, add $2500 for an all-wheel-drive M56.
Since the all-new M launched, sales of the midsize luxury sport sedan have exploded. In August, sales were more than double the M’s sales in August 2009. A better guide is the year-to-date sales through August, which were up 45.1 percent, to 9130 units. This puts the M below the G sedan and coupe, but ahead of the QX56, EX35, and FX models in sales.
If you’re looking for another indication of demand, Infiniti’s national incentives include zero-percent financing on all models except for the M and QX56, both models that saw sales increases of over 100 percent in August.
