Honda Performance Development Launches Grassroots Racing Initiative

To help expand Honda Performance Development’s presence in grassroots motorsports, HPD recently launched the Honda Racing Line, a club aimed at entry-level and amateur racers flogging Honda and Acura products.

“For many years, Honda enthusiasts have campaigned our products in racing series throughout the U.S.,” said HPD’s president, Erik Berkman. “On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Honda brand in the United States, we are pleased to announce that we will now support those efforts directly, by introducing products and services geared toward helping our customers fulfill their racing dreams.”

Customers using the Honda Racing Line will be able to order both original equipment parts and race-spec performance parts. Because of the factory backing, parts will be shipped via expedited delivery, helping eliminate the delays racers previously encountered when ordering parts for their cars.

“Thousands of our customers are racing Hondas or Acuras today with a need for regular access to parts,” said Berkman. “We are pleased to provide that service, and look forward to expanding the roster of benefits and services available to Honda Racing Line members.”

As part of the Honda Racing Line, various marketing activities are planned to help raise Honda’s profile in motorsports. For more information on HRL, visit
