Enjoy the insanity of Hamann’s Fiat Abarth 500, but want something with a little more space inside? You’re in luck — the company just unveiled the Conqueror II, a highly tuned take on the Range Rover Sport.
Arguably, the highlight of the Conqueror II lurks under the hood. In its stock form, the Sport’s 510-hp, 5.5-liter supercharged V-8 is no slouch, but by tweaking the engine controller and adding a low-restriction intake and exhaust, the engine’s output rises to 560 hp and 552 lb-ft of torque (up from 461 lb-ft).
In typical Hamann style, the super-sport ute receives an aggressive cosmetic makeover that includes flared wheel arches, restyled front and rear fascias, a lowered suspension, and gigantic matte-black 23-inch forged aluminum wheels. Inside, the Range Rover Sport receives custom carbon fiber trim.
Certainly, it may rule on the two-lane blacktop. But given its rolling stock and body modifications, we highly doubt the Conqueror II will conquer any off-road trails — although its stock form might.
