Visitors to Monterey for this year’s Pebble Beach week would do well to score access to the posh Aston Martin Estate, where the British luxury brand will show off four bespoke cars produced under the auspices of its new “Q by Aston Martin” personalization service. The four bespoke vehicles on view include an Aston Martin Vanquish Coupe, Vanquish Volante, V12 Vantage S, and DB9 Volante.
Q by Aston Martin caters to the ultra-elite, who want a level of distinction and exclusivity that even a standard Aston Martin brings. Aston Martin says in a statement that its Q by Aston Martin service “encourage[s customers] to challenge the team to make their automotive dreams reality.” Dealer partner Galpin Aston Martin commissioned the four bespoke Astons, each with its own character and flavor.
The Aston Martin Vanquish coupe on view at the luxury brand’s Estate is painted in Q by Aston Martin-specific Abor Orange. Q amplified the carbon fiber weave by double, heightening the appearance of depth for the carbon fiber trim elements, which match the Vanquish’s helix-pattern printed leather interior styled in Obsidian Black. The pattern continues across the fully leather headliner and door panels. Another, Frosted Silver, Q by Aston Martin-specific color is used for the Vanquish Volante, which gets graphite-finished ten-spoke wheels with polished calipers as well as sterling silver wings and badges. Inside, the Volante is finished with Chestnut Tan equestrian saddle leather and a Frosted Silver center stack to match the exterior paint. The Aston Martin Vanquish Coupe and Vanquish Volante employ a towering 5.9-liter V-12 that wields 568 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque via an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Q by Aston Martin dosed the DB9 Volante with a warm Ashen Blonde paint that resembles a rich silver, accentuated by large polished wheels. Things get a little crazier inside, where Q installed pink, blush pearl leather with a center stack clad in something called Piano Ice Mocha. Special details include full blanket stitching for the interior leather and a pink Rhodachrosite stone inlaid in the Q exterior badges aft of the front wheels. The DB9 uses the same 5.9-liter V-12 from the Vanquish, in this case making 510 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque.
Last is the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S. Clad in purple amethyst exterior paint dotted with baby blue, Monterey Pearl detailing for the front grille and rear diffuser, the Vantage S demonstrates an extreme attention to detail that extends to the interior. Obsidian Black leather is balanced with Vivid Purple and Monterey Blue detailing as well as generous carbon fiber trim. The V12 Vantage S makes 565 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque.
Previous Q by Aston Martin creations include the sensational CC100 Speedster concept, while future projects could include a special-edition version of the still-unrevealed Lagonda sedan. How would you customize your dream Q by Aston Martin model? Let us know in the comments.
