Ford’s 2013 Fusion Hybrid is already a class-leader in terms of fuel economy, is priced hundreds less than its predecessor, and is styled with a hint of Aston Martin. But Ford decided to make the Fusion Hybrid a little swankier still. As such, like most other Ford models, the 2013 Fusion Hybrid will now be offered in an optional, top-shelf Titanium trim level.
Adding the Titanium trim level to the Fusion Hybrid does exactly the same thing as adding it to a Focus or standard Fusion–it adds a heaping helping of technological features and luxury accoutrements. Present on the Hybrid Titanium is Ford’s nearly ubiquitous MyFord Touch system, which displays the infotainment and images from the standard rear-view camera. It’s coupled to a 12-speaker Sony premium audio system, which also includes HD Radio capability. All of the seats, along with the steering wheel and shift lever, are trimmed in leather, and the package includes keyless entry and start. On the outside, the Fusion Hybrid Titanium has an appearance package that includes front fog lamps, chrome trim on the door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a rear spoiler.
The Fusion Hybrid Titanium will start at $32,995 (including destination), exactly $2000 more than a front-wheel-drive 2013 Fusion Titanium. Ford says that the price for the Fusion Hybrid Titanium and the Fusion Titanium with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine and all-wheel drive will be the same. All told, the Fusion Hybrid Titanium is $5000 more than the Fusion SE Hybrid, which starts at $27,995.
The Fusion Hybrid Titanium will reach Ford dealers sometime early next year.
