First Pictures of Ken Block’s Ford Fiesta Rally Car Surface

As we reported a few months, Ken Block has left Subaru to join Ford’s rally team — and these are the first photos of one of his rides: a Rally America-spec Fiesta.

The Monster World Rally Team had scheduled an official unveiling of the car tomorrow, but photos of the race-prepped hatchback emerged on the team’s official Facebook page this morning. The wild black, white, and green paint scheme is similar to the Impreza WRX STI Block previously drove, although a new pattern makes the black paint appear to ooze.

Block, along with co-driver Alex Gelsomino, has a busy year ahead of him. The duo is scheduled to flog the Fiesta in all six races of the Rally America championship, compete in the 2010 X-Games rally events, and then campaign a Focus in seven races in the 2010 World Rally Championship.

“This is going to be one of the craziest and most challenging years of my life and rally career,” said Block. “I’m stoked.”

So are we, Ken. Look for Block to make his first appearance as a Ford driver at the Sno*Drift rally this weekend in Atlanta, Michigan.
