The first 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport is headed to the auction block. The 2014 CTS Vsport, set to be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson later this year, will benefit the SAE’s STEM outreach programs, which work to get young students into math and science. The winning bid will not only get the first production CTS Vsport, but also a trip to Cadillac’s performance driving school.
The 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport is powered by a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V-6 that cranks out 420 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque, paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The CTS Vsport also gets wider and stickier rubber, an electronic limited-slip differential, bigger brakes, and a quicker steering rack. GM has estimated that the new Cadillac CTS Vsport will be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds.
